Neon Requiem: The Glass Protocol

In the year 2114, the human brain is the only hard drive that can’t be hacked—unless you rent it out. In the sprawling megalopolis of New Kyoto, “Renters” sell their excess gray matter to corporations for high-speed data processing. Cassian Night is a “Neural Plumber,” a specialist hired to flush out the digital sludge and corrupted code left behind by corporate tenants.

When a young Renter named Mina comes to him with a “phantom file”—a massive, encrypted memory block that shouldn’t exist—Cassian discovers a horrifying truth. The file is a “Glass Protocol,” a high-security snuff memory of a political assassination. The catch? The memory is rigged with a suicide trigger. If Mina remembers what happened, her neural lace will overload, liquifying her brain. To save her, Cassian must navigate a city of mirrors, fighting off corporate hit-squads and his own fading sanity, to find the “Architect” of the memory before the glass shatters.
